At Smart Products USA, our best example of a true relief valve can be found in Models #103 and #109. Available as a 1/8" Male NPT style, these valves are easily placed into plastic, metal, or other materials with absolutely no tubing involved. While the majority of our valves function as both a check and pressure relief flow control option, Models #103 and #109 are more suited to only relieve pressure. A lot of customers simply place this valve on the exterior of a tank, bladder, or other device. When pressure builds to a designated PSI level, this spring-loaded valve responds and allows flow of liquids/gasses slowly out of the application to prevent blow ups or damage.

Like all of our valves, Models #103 and #109 are customized to fit your unique application requirements by plastic body material, o-ring material, and spring pressure. The #103 and #109 are available in Polypropylene, Nylon, Polycarbonate, Ultem®, and Acetal. O-ring options include Buna-N, EPDM, Viton®, Silicone, and Fluorosilicone. Opening PSI levels for these valves range from 0.09 to 20 PSI.

To avoid damaging the #103 and #109 valves, we recommend you use a 7/16" wrench or socket with very low torque or manually twisting it into place. Once installed, the valve's low profile limits the possibility of it getting hit or caught on external objects.
