Titanium springs now available in every valve series

About Titanium Springs
Strong and resistant to corrosion, titanium springs hold up in highly caustic environments over a longer period of time versus stainless steel springs. In our experience, we have found titanium to be an ideal choice in devices exposed to saline, polluted water, and/or saltwater because the properties of titanium can withstand these environments. Examples of applications ideal for titanium springs include medical devices or implants, aerospace, pressure vessels, as well as many others.
The titanium springs we use are referred to as Ti 6AI-4V, and they have been treated with citric passivation process, which quickly and easily removes debris from springs. This passivation method is a very economical and environmentally safe method. Please note that our titanium springs comply with ASTM B600-11 process for citric passivation of the Ti spring.
Model #101's new cone design gets rave reviews and now has even more customizable components
 Since it was introduced to the marketplace a few short months ago, the Model #101's new cone seal has received rave reviews.
"Customers are thrilled with the new Model #101 cone seal. I've received a lot of positive feedback - the design is working very well in a variety of customer applications," says Director of Sales & Marketing Cathy Jernigan.
Especially popular for the medical industry, the Model #101 is our smallest check/pressure relief valve at 1/8" I.D. tubing.
The cone design sits more evenly versus the previous ball design. This enhanced feature allows for better flow of gasses and/or liquids within the Model #101.The cone seal is now available in Buna-N, Silicone, and EPDM for all opening spring pressures under 4 PSI.
Jernigan adds, " Our engineering team is currently testing higher durometer (hardness of rubber) cones. If testing proves to be successful, we will begin offering the cone design for higher opening pressures (up to 20 PSI) by the end of Q2."
Model #101 is available in Polypropylene, Nylon, Acetal®, PVDF, Poylcarbonate, and Ultem® plastic body materials.
